Malerie and Michael's wedding day began at Malerie's grandma's at her home right on the lake in Port Huron. Throughout the house were tons of memories of the family and kids growing up and it was special to be able to start their day there. Once Michael and the groomsmen arrived, we had some emotional firsts look between Michael and his mom, Malerie and her dad, and then with Malerie and Michael before heading down to the beach with the bridal party. Their ceremony and reception were at Solitude Links which was a wonderful venue in Kimball, Michigan. Everything was decorated in a really personal and subtle rustic theme and made for the perfect backdrop for the evening. Toward the end of the night, Malerie and Michael played the "shoe game" and in case their family and friends didn't already know, proved they are perfect for one another.
